Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes.
Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December.

Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.

Students can take MAT in two options - Computer Based or in Paper Based Test. The Paper Based Test is being conducted on the first Sunday of the February, May, September and December from 1000-1230 hours.
Computer based test may be available based on number of candidates registering for the same.

Imp Note regarding Test Centers:
1. Test Centre City list is provided in the Bulletin. Test Venues for Paper-Based Test and Computer Based Test are different.
2. The Paper-Based Test will take place only on one day i.e., 11 Dec 2016 at one time slot i.e., 10.00am-12.30pm.
3. The Computer Based Test will take place from 17Dec 2016 onwards in different time slots.
4. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and it can be accommodated in a single day; the test will be completed on 12 Dec 2015 itself.
5. If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is few in a particular centre, these candidates have to appear for the Paper-Based Test on 06 Dec 2015.
6. MAT alows you to get your results via sms. Just SMS as : MATS FORMNO DOB(ddmmyy) to 54242
Eg: MATS 200391 030985 to 54242.
7. The Score Card is put on the AIMA website during last week of the month of the test. Candidate can download his/her score card with his 6 digits Registration Form Number and 9 digits Roll NO from AIMA website link http://apps.aima.in/mat_input_result.aspx
8. Validity of the MAT score is for that particular session for most Management Institutes is one year.
